Swanky Scoops

Swanky Scoops is a woman-owned business that focuses on creating rich and daring artisanal ice creams. Made in small batches and from scratch here in Toledo, Alissa uses high quality ingredients in interesting combinations to give her customers a unique taste experience. Swanky Scoops is ice cream for the bold.

Alissa approached me with a two-fold need - first, she wanted clean, warm photos of her ice cream cart to use for promoting events. Second, she wanted to showcase her vision for her brand and to set herself apart with her product photos. So we spent time discussing what her vision is, and how that could be conveyed through photos.

We also knew we would be working with real ice cream, so we made sure to be prepared for each setup ahead of time in order to capture the ice cream at its best. The results are a set of rich and layered photographs with Alissa’s real products that she can use to confidently push her business to new heights.
